The artist puts in focus the connection between the individual and the urban space and observes in this way the Loop effect that is created in front of him and visually manifests itselfs in blurries images.
A series wich especially highlights the relationship between man and his familiar daily routine, in particular thise events whic occur in public spaces, amongst the presence of others.
The artist therefore attempts to emphasiese those man-made structures build to control his own actions. The result takes form in photograps of symmetrical and geometrical precision.
TThe two series that have arisen from this connection, whic recently were presented in the namesakes solo shows “Nowhere Here” and “Loop.” are here rappresented by few works. At present, the artist is working on the series
Die Schachtel ( The Box ), wich examines the metropoly as a box, a stage and theatre with human beings as actors. A range of diptyches, global views, wich stand in contrast to each other trough the interaction
between the focused and unfocused; in the first part, the city appears clearly with its outline and its social character presented; in the second it’ s examineted trough a haze, its details become hidden in order to show
waht lies behind the ordinary, the space in wich things are only happening in the quiet.
The natural developing of “Die Schachtel” examine the ricreative areas in the metropoly, with special attention on parks and beaches; in single focused pictures wich are a portrait of the individual man and his relationship
with the mass in the context of the metropolitan “box”.
